Is it possible to run the SQL statement "ALTER USER <user_name> PASSWORD <new_password>" from an XSJS service? We have a need to allow users to change their HANA DB passwords without needing to install HANA Studio. This is so we can assign HANA DB names to users so they can login to Tableau (SSO does not seem to be supported in Tableau with HANA yet).
If this is possible and it wouldn't trouble someone too much, how would I do this from writing the XSJS code and the function in the controller? What are some of other concerns about this approach?
