HANA Input Parameter with Default now() not updating in IDT

I created an input parameter in HANA that is defaulted to now(). This date is used in projection filters throughout the calculation view, and gives the user the ability to differ from current date; though, most of the time current date is desired.This works perfectly in HANA.

Once a universe is built on this view in IDT (v 4.1 sp 6 patch 3), the prompted date never updates to current date. It always shows a default to the date the universe was published.

I'm not sure how I can force this prompt to always update.
