Hello,
if we have simple requirements like currency conversions, simple calculations and some additional fields we are using views (calc, anal, attribute) in Hana Studio. But if you have some complex requirements we are not sure how to solve them in Hana Studio.
Some Examples:
- calculate fields in lines which are dependent on another line in a table
- make comparisons of two tables if some specific attribute is defined
- get a specific order of a customer (earliest, oldest)
- define a field in an order header which is calculated by the order positions
These examples are standard analytic requirements but i cannot really find a solution to handle it with the hana approach.
For some of them I found some workarounds but we are not really satisfied.
In ABAP you would just loop the data and calculate whatever you want but what is the approach of the SAP with HANA Studio?
Should we just use HANA Studio if we have some simple BI requirements?
