I set up a new instance in AWS using the new HANA SPS6 image. I can access the DB successfully using the latest HANA Studio but I am unable to start up the Lifecycle Management, which to my understanding is used now for controlling SLT replication. The error is following:
After investigating a bit, it seems that SUM is not installed by default on the AWS Developer image on the server side. I could follow note 1793303 and install SUM but I'd rather not spend my time doing that if it isn't the right action to take.
My question is, am I doing something wrong, i.e. should the Lifecycle Management be working out of the box in SPS6 (especially with the AWS image) or are more steps needed to get everything going? Or can I manage SLT replication from some other place which I have overlooked?
