HANA as application server

Hi all,

As known, back-end system has application server and database.

At first, I thought HANA is more like a database,but I was told that HANA can also play a role as an application server.

So I have two questions:

1, Which language(runtime) can be used to produce services(I mean application services, not something like db procedures)

2, Is there any user number limits on HANA, is HANA suitable for developing internet based application(many users would request services at the same time)
