HANA trial - subfolder authorization issue

Dear SCN,

after following all the steps in these guides:

8 Easy Steps to Develop an XS application on the SAP HANA Cloud Platform

SAP HANA Cloud Platform

I am still struggling with one remaining issue: whatever is created in a subfolder in a given package, cannot be activated, changed or deleted afterwards.

Firstly when trying to activate the newly created package I get this error:

"Repository operation failed

Repository request failed. Cause: Repository: User is not authorized to execute specified operation;User 'DEV_8B8997IBMVZINMM7LFEI8MIE7' has no authorization, privilege: 'REPO.ACTIVATE_IMPORTED_OBJECTS', package: 'p191897trial.hihanaxs.hello.".settings"'!, code: 40.156, argument:"

because ".settings"' is a sub-package (including the dot.... very strange.... anyway)

Then, by deselecting the ".settings" sub-package I can activate my content.

But then, by following the tutorials, whatever is created in a sub-package (folder in the package explorer) cannot be activated (it shows a blue arrow in the icon).

Then, when trying to delete these defective sub-packages/folders from the System view, similar message as above is displayed, and the action cannot be completed.

Please, has anyone faced such an error?

I am pretty sure I followed, many times, the proposal solutions of building the correct path in the package creation, and also installing the most recent software components, as repeatedly posted in similar questions.

Any guess is welcome!

Thank you !!

Fabio B.
