Hello All,
There are some custom programs in my ECC system which read & write data to a third party Oracle database using DB Link. In this case as the back end database of ECC is Oracle, it was possible to use DB Link to connect to third party Oracle database. As it is planned to migrate to HANA, all the database specific code is not going to work any more. DB Link is a Oracle specific feature and all the above mentioned custom programs won't work once the system is migrated to HANA.
Can anyone suggest an alternate approach to read data of a third party Oracle database from SAP with HANA DB. Note that the Oracle database which I want to connect is not in the SAP landscape. I have searched SCN and found most of the posts are related to HANA as a secondary database.
