Can i call an xsjs service from within another xsjs service

Hi,

In my application i would like to create a REST service using HANA XS.

Within this XSJS i would like to make a call to another XSCFUNC service.

I do not want to do it using the event followUp SP09 feature. Also, I believe, i cannot use XS Destinations as this is not any external hosted service , rather its an HANA internal service.
