Hi Experts
As my status is telling it, I am looking for the best way to document our 1000+ views and procedures so that we can maintain "easily" our architecture.
I had a try at Powerdesigner, but was quite disappointed to see it was not managing calculation views.
I renounced trying to generate a global model out of my repository.
I also tried some other UML modelling tools... which offer good graphic features, but are not interfaced with HANA, and not so easy to deploy & learn for developers.
So now I am up to pretty schemas in Visio or Excel. Which is the most flexible solution I found so far...
So I start this discussion with one question :
- How do YOU manage your built-in content (views, replicated tble, scripts...), what is the best practice for you to visualize and manage dependencies, reuse, urbanization of your views ?
