How to use Input Parameters in CE functions

Hi,

I wanted to use input parameters in CE functions, I am using different scenarios but no one is working. Kindly help me to understand this.

i am using different scenarios as below

1. directly taking input parameter as :V_BI_USER_ID

2. trough dummy table i am using it

3. using CE_CALC fintion ...CE_CALC(':V_BI_USER_ID',NVARCHAR(35)) AS BI_USER_ID

2 & 3 are activated successfully but in data preview it is giving error "INTERNAL ERROR DURING INSTANTIATING CALCULATION MODEL"

help will be appreciable.
