Adding AD authentication to HANA instance

Guys,

I am trying to add windows AD authentication to my AWS HANA instance for learning purpose.

I have done following so far:

Created virtual private cloud (VPC) in AWS

Created Windows Server 2008 instance and configured Active Directory services with VPC

Now, I am assuming that I can add my current HANA instance to domain for AD authentication. I am following the steps give in this document

But I have a question before I start performing above steps. Do I need to add HANA server (SUSE LINUX) to domain as well? Above document is very brief and do not talk much in detail on configuration and commands.

Anyway, please let me know if anybody has already done so.
