Hello experts,
I have recently downloaded source files for SAP Fiori application TimeSheet so I can modify it. It consisted of several files which use I don't understand. Along with views and their controllers it contained component-preload.js file and component-preload-dbg.js file. In both files there is more than 6000 lines of code. It seems like it is a copy of all the code structured in views in one file. Modifying other files, like controller of specific view resulted in no change. If I wanted to change something I had to find the place in component-preload.js and edit it there.
This is very uncomfortable and it make no sense to me. Once I modify it on one place, there will be more versions of original code (unless I modify it everywhere, which is sily). I would like to have the code nicely structured in views and their controllers or other modules. I am new to UI5 development and I can't find answer in discussion, neither in literature. Do you have any advice how to handle this? Is there a way how to make the application skip the code in component-preload.js file?
