Hi,
I am new to HANA, I have read books, practiced a little and passed the certification. I would like to gain some more knowledge based on real time scenarios and how info models and reports are created in the real world. Please help me by answering the following questions:
1. It is my understanding that we can integrate data from different sources like SAP modules, ECC system, 3rd party systems and BW on HANA. Is this correct?
2. Can someone please give me some examples of reports, dashboards and info models created using SD,FI,MM,CO PA, ECC and BW? I would really like to practice and learn.
3. If you run BW on HANA, can you still run a separate instance of HANA where you integrate data from all the above sources and create info models in HANA Studio. Is this how its done usually?Or do you use the same HANA instance that has BW on it. What is the system landscape like? Can someone give me any example?
4. What are the business requirements usually like?
5. Generally how many views are designed for a business requirement of average complexity? for eg: how many calculation views, how many unions, how many analytical and attribute views?
I read the book, wrote the certification, read some blogs and posts but I haven't been able to gather any practical knowledge on HANA. Any help will be really appreciated.
