Hana SPS07 and spatial data in Procedures

Hi,

I have a question regarding the use of HANA Geospatial engine queries in procedures.

When I execute the procedure below:

I get the error:

When I run the same select statement from XSJS or the SQL Console it works fine. It just doesn't work in the procedure.

I also found the SCN Thread, http://scn.sap.com/thread/3525242 indicating that spatial functions cannot be used in procedures. Is this correct?

Currently we have an XSOData service that calls procedures, would these procedures be able to execute spatial functions like the one above?
