Just installed rev.70 of Hana Client and Studio (Win x.64), and set about installing the prerequisites for SAPUI5 and SAPUI5 itself. Just wanted to share a few screenshots as it may be of use to others. Welcome any comments that can improve/correct.
Some of you may have seen Issues while installing SAPUI5 on HANA Studio whilst installing SAPUI5 in the past. That thread proved very useful to me as a quick ref reminder of prerequisites.
Note however that as of now, with Studio rev.70 and it's use of Kepler as the Eclipse update site (as opposed to Juno for rev 6.X versions of Studio), some 3.4.0 versions of prerequisites are no longer available. Note for each plugin I unchecked "Show only the latest...." and "Group items by category).
I have opted for versions 3.5.1 where available, see screenshots below:
- Eclipse Faceted Project Framework (and JDT enablement) - version 3.4.0 available
- Eclipse Java EE Developer Tools - version 3.5.0 and 3.5.1 available
- Eclipse Java Web Developer Tools - I selected 3.5.1 here
- WST Common Core - Note that despite WST Common Core 3.5.0 being available for selection a newer version was already installed.
Final plugin is the SAPUI5 component from my local update site, after which I have:
