Good day to you. I am writing this question after going through several blogs but still i am in little confustion. request you to please check and suggest me accordingly.
I am 12 years experienced ABAP/4 consultant and i have learnt HANA 1.0 now. I have completed my certification also on HANA 1.0. I have learned BW 7.0 (i.e i dont have any live working experience on BW but did some excersises while doing course) also because i thought it will be helpful to me to understand HANA modelling concepts. I am having knowledge in BI reporting tools and BODS too.
So now my question is as below
1. Do i need to learn ABAP on HANA now, to start my career in HANA..?
2. Or with the avilable knowledge can i start my career with HANA... If yes what is the position/role i can apply for?
3. Or after learning ABAP on HANA, do i need to apply for HANA jobs, if yes what is the position/role i can apply for?
4. If i need to learn ABAP on HANA, will HA400 will be enough? please clarify..?
5. Now i have seen Bussiness Suite on HANA that means now Bussiness Suite applications can treat HANA as primary DB, so is there any difference in learning concepts of ABAP on HANA comapared to side by side approach.. please clarify..
conclusion: I have 12 years of experience and knowledge in HANA, BW, BI reporting tools, BODS and i am certified in HANA 1.0. This is what i am having with me right now. so please check and help me to understand if i need to learn something new as mentioned above to start my career with HANA.
Request you to please check and help me to come out of my confustion and help me to build my career in HANA.
