Hello Friends,
I was able to upload csv data into my Hana tables using the CTL method after a lot of trail and error but .err file or .bad file is not getting generated inside the linux server directory whenever any issue is there and no data upload takes place.
I am logged in as ' root ' user and checked the permission( using ls -l command )for my directory( named loaddata ) in which .csv and .ctl files are resting.
It shows drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 Feb 8 12:09 loaddata.Thus the file should get generated inside this directory.
Do I need to change any permissions for the same using chmod 777 even when I am logged in as root(as suggested by sum1)???
Also the permission for my .ctl and .csv files are as follows:
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 775 Feb 8 11:05 icecream_fact_mix09.csv
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 261 Feb 8 11:44 icecream_fact_mix09.ctl
Do i need to change any permissions for these files for getting my .err file.
