Boolean type column in oData services with HANADB

Hello Experts,

The big picture is that I struggle to bind an oData service generated on hanadb with a boolean column type in a table using SAPUI5 (as on the picture below). As far as I know, there is no possibility to create a Boolean type column on sap hanadb. I think this is the general issue here. The SAPUI5 checkbox expects the Boolean type: expected boolean for property "checked". Is there a way to achieve the oData service with boolean type column with sap hana database or how do you bind checkboxes with oData services from SAP HANA? .
